Before you can even claim to be a student of Design Patterns, you must first read the very first book that started this new paradigm of thinking in terms of Design Patterns. And that, of course, is the Design Pattern Bible authored by the Gang Of Four, or GoF for short.
I call the GoF's Design Pattern book the Design Pattern Bible, mainly because I see how the Design Pattern community makes reference to the GoF book in a manner that is similar to how "C" programmers make reference to the K&R Bible.
The GoF book itself has been reviewed, deconstructed, dissected, and analyzed from all conceivable perspectives, so there's not much more I can add with a review of the book. I will note that many University computer science departments across the country have started incorporating the GoF book into their curriculum.

Overview
What I would like to do here is discuss the design patterns that I have used in my current and previous jobs, and any design pattern issues that relate to their practical applications.
